FM-system

Wireless communication, or FM system, delivers a clear improvement in the quality of life for people with hearing impairments. FM systems significantly improve communication in situations involving loud noises, distance or echo. Examples include lecture theatres, restaurants, classrooms, talking on the telephone or watching TV. It can be difficult to hear and follow conversations in these situations, even with the best and most advanced hearing aids.
FM is a wireless sound transmission system consisting of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter captures the speaker's voice and sends it wirelessly via radio waves directly to the ear and the FM receiver fitted in the user's hearing aid. The transmitter can either be placed next to or connected directly into the sound source.
